What is The Disney candlelight Proccessional?
Disney Candlelight is a performance held at Epcot that gives certain high schools the opportunity to be a part of it. The event consists of the retelling of the Christmas Story in words and music complete with a 50 piece orchestra, choir and celebrity guest narrators. The narrator reads the Christmas story and interspersed are favorite carols of the season that guests are encouraged to sing along to. Palm Harbor University High School has had the opportunity to perform in the processional for many years. There is a choir audition process videotaped and sent out. After that comes class rehearsals up until the day of the event where we spend a day at Disney performing with other schools and groups of people. Overall, it is a fun experience that we are able to be a part of (note: Beginning Choir is not eligible to perform at candlelight.)
